We are a 501(C)(3) charitable organization, specializing in teaching members about computers in a group (not individual) environment.

All meetings are free and open to the public.

If you enjoy our meetings, we hope that you join our Group.

We are a group of computer enthusiasts.  We like to learn more about computers.  Some of us are beginners, and some are advanced users.

All levels of expertise are welcome.  Our Question and Answer sessions are a great way to learn.  Most of the answers come from our members in attendance.

We understand that some of the questions are going to be very basic.  After all, we were all beginners once.

So come out to a meeting and participate with us, and bring your questions.  We love trying to answer them.

IS YOUR CASTLE HAUNTED?

Well, if you live in the Lehigh Valley, LAPIS is the place to turn to.  We employ scientific methods to investigate anomalous phenomenon - unexplained events - in an effort to prove or disprove the paranormal.

LAPIS is the acronym for the Lehigh Anomalous Phenomenon Investigation Society.

Mr. Rodney Conn, Technical Manager will demonstrate the hi-tech equipment he uses to communicate their findings in and around the Lehigh Valley. The team will investigate residential dwellings or commercial establishments in the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania area. 

The purpose of LAPIS is not to promote a “Halloween” mentality, but to look genuinely at an issue that has forever puzzled, inspired, and frightened humanity. 

Through the many theories and queries about what happens when we die, and what “makes” or creates a ghost, LAPIS strives to find evidence to increase our understanding. 

Contributing even one small shred of evidence to this research helps toward accomplishing our ultimate goal of explaining scientifically what has been experienced by so many people in so many places and cultures throughout history: paranormal phenomena, i.e. ghosts and all those unexplained “bumps in the night.”

In the paranormal field, there are no guarantees: unusual phenomena occur whenever conditions are conducive for it to occur.  

LAPIS may spend hours collecting data but not come back to you with any concrete evidence.  This does not negate your claims, it only tells us nothing happened while we were onsite.  

They will work very hard to help you understand what type of activity you have going on, and how to proceed from that point.
 
LAPIS does not charge any fees for its services.  As such, we reserve the right not to investigate any claim due to time constraints, distance, or level of haunting.  If the need arises, we will refer the client to another investigative team who may better serve the client's particular needs.
