• AnalogX Proxy Server- LVCG webmaster's favorite for setting up your computer for internet sharing with other computers on a network. Not only is it easy to use, but acts as a firewall <with AnologX's Port Blocker>to protect your intranet as well. Freeware.

• Burnt Cookies- This utility allows you to fully control which cookies you accept and which ones you can delete. It offers much more control then the Internet Explorer settings. Freeware.
  

• Pop Up Stopper- Here's another pop up window shut down utility. Try it free for 30 days. Pop Up Stopper Pro is $19.95.
  

• NoAds- another browser pop up killer. Freeware.

• E-cleaner-another member endorsed utility that cleans formatting of forwarded e-mail. (the brackets>>)-Freeware.

• Bugnosis- Web bugs are placed on web pages by third parties interested in collecting data about visitors to those pages. Find out who's tracking you on the web with this web bug detector. Send them an e-mail and say stop. Freeware

• Clever Keys- A free software program that provides instant access to definitions at Dictionary.com, synonyms at Thesaurus.com, and more—from any Windows or Mac OS program, including Microsoft Word and most e-mail programs and browsers.

• SpyBot-Search & Destroy- SpyBot S & D is a multi spyware removal utility, that scans your memory, registry and hard drives for known spyware components and lets you remove them safely. Free download-but asks for donation.-submitted by John Billetz

• Spam Motel- Here's a cool utility that stops junk e-mail. SpamMotel is an internet-based program that lets you give out an e-mail address without the worry of it being misused or sold. It prevents junk e-mail, a.k.a. spam. By assigning unique e-mail addresses, you can identify where the e-mail was generated. Freeware

• MailWasher MailWasher is a powerful email checker with effective spam elimination. Free with ad banner. $20 to remove -submitted by Tom Smith

• Zone Alarm- A lot of our members are using this software firewall utility. A firewall allows you to authorize and monitor activity accessing your computer while you are online. Zone Labs offers Zone Alarm free. They also have an upgrade to Zone Alarm Pro for a fee. You can try it for 30 days first.

• Web Washer- another program to filer cookies and web bugs. -submitted by Tom Smith

• Download Accelerator Plus- This utility is a download tool which features mirror server connections and a resume feature if you are accidently disconnected while downloading a file from the web. Downloading software with a dial up connection is noticably faster using this utility. Freeware with ad screen.
